I was away for a couple of weeks, two emergencies happened to two of our dogs, consequently, and we thought there is a bad energy around us as I’ve started posting on LinkedIn. And yes, as a neuroscientist and AI builder, I think this is not being superstitious, some people send negative vibes. I’m trying to stay away from their eyes.
But I can’t avoid it. The passion for sharing the story. The show must go on.
I don’t usually attend large conferences. For a couple of years I attended many. Many large ones I skip these years because you don’t really get human connections. There is too much noise. Now I’m building human connections only in small events; Is it me or you also see there is no high quality conference out there that you have enough cross-industry conversations? I was talking with a couple of friends and they had similar experiences. And that’s why Sara and I created Miami AI Club. To have high level learning experiences, around AI.
We had AI Healthrush, AI AI Lawfare, AI Basel, AI Cyberwar and a couple of more intimate private dinners. On the pipeline we have a very private dinner in AI, quantum and cybersecurity with the very top leaders, with a conclave of executives, founders, and investors. Then we will have AI Cyberwar 2 with the theme of deepfakes next month.
Now its Miami Tech week and I had give one event a try which wasn’t a good experience. I’m trying Israel Collective tonight and Emerge next week. Let’s see what is the hype of emerge about.
Thanks Michael Hoshue for inviting Sara and me to Emerge.
