Day 012/365

Today, Sara Zargaran and I were invited by Ori Miller and JP Morgan Chase for a VIP experience at Cirque du Soleil Echo. It was an amazing experience, an emotional roller-coaster. I met a couple of good friends, Ayal Stern, Omar Fuentes, CSPO®, CSM®, CSFS® and awesome Sarah Hippert.

Throughout the show, I was thinking: Are we the last generations that will have such forms of entertainment? Or, as we still appreciate musical plays and such performances, will the next generations also appreciate the weaknesses, the boundaries of human physics, our own personal limitations? Maybe there will be joint human and machine plays.

In the last few days, I’ve had a couple of conversations with experts in the education field including Erika Twani, Sean Dagony-Clark, and Atul Apte about the impact of the next generation of AI tools, post-ChatGPT AI tools, like AI tutors, on the emotional learning of kids. This is a very important topic. I understand the excitement when I speak to AI builders; they are building these solutions quickly, and in fact, we will demo a couple of them at the Miami AI club soon.

I see the frustration in education leaders. ChatGPT was banned in Los Angeles and Baltimore, and in some places, it still is. As they are scratching their heads around ChatGPT, a new, stronger wave is on its way, and that would be personalized tutors.

We have to act fast on responsible AI.
