Day 005/365

“AI Safety: The Next Frontier of VC Money”

Following the FII Summit, my friends Brandon and David from Lionheart Ventures invited me to an exclusive dinner party in the Venetian Islands, complete with a stunning view of Brickell nights and a chef’s delightful mushroom paste. They are among the world’s first AI Safety funds.

My key message to the investors was simple: for every engine, there are four brakes! Brandon and I share a genuine concern for AI Safety, and there’s a lot of synergy in our perspectives.

As more capital flows into AI, public sentiment towards AI grows more sensitive. This would lead countries to enforce stricter policies, which I aim to help balanced and globalized through collaboration and inclusive dialogue.

This could also spur the growth of many startups in the space. The AI safety market is in its nascent stages – it’s like Bitcoin when it was valued at a dollar.

The Miami AI Club plays a significant role in this ecosystem. The more investment the space attracts, the more support startups will receive, fostering innovation and societal benefits.
I’m building a coalition around this cause. Let’s shape the future of AI Safety together.
