Miami AI Club’s story is no different than Miami’s. Everything is so much better here, and as AI brings exponentiality to things, Miami AI Club is having an exponential of that blessing.
Miami is moving fast, in fact Miami is responsible for the U.S. GDP growth bypassing China’s (video in comments). The AI ecosystem is very hot, and the cherry on the top is the Miami AI Club. We now bring such a high caliber of executives, founders and investors around a dinner table, from Saudi Arabia to Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and New York, to have in-depth conversations about AI. We had the opportunity to have friendly conversations with the Chief Security Officer of Blackstone, he is globally responsible for the cyber and physical security that spans hundreds of their investments worth over ONE TRILLION dollars, and they are the winners. They had never had a breach ever neither the Blackstone nor within any of the 700 companies under their gigantic umbrella!!! That’s miraculously unbelievable. A fortress!
And then another mesmerizing talk by Dr. Seth Dobrin who is the former Monsanto and IBM’s Chief AI Officer talked about AI risks and opportunities, and the EU AI Act. How the rapid changes in regulation are impacting the future of companies that are doing business in the EU in a tough position, and the majority of the companies even in the tech space, are not aware of the consequences of the AI ACT and many are going to be freaked out. And Daniel Barsky, who is one of the very few true AI Legal experts talking about EU ACT, and the dinner was such a memorable night with good vibes and good conversations around AI. Everyone spoke, and we all did, sharing our opinions. And that’s a unique experience. That’s a unique experience that happens because of AI and the humans’ curiosity around its own intelligent creation.
This dinner was an Exclusive yet Inclusive event; What is important for me is to have inclusion within this high achiever group and provide the platform for everyone to share their opinions while we listen to every opinion. We had rising talents in the room, in different stages of their career, because we are committed to helping all of us grow, using AI. That’s the mission of the Club.
